We follow standard cleanup and hand-sanitizing protocols at every visit. Every visit includes pre-visit animal health screening, mandatory handler hand sanitization, and disposable barriers for surfaces where animals make contact. We carry comprehensive commercial general liability insurance specifically covering animal-assisted therapy activities in healthcare settings. Certificates of insurance naming your facility as an additional insured are provided before the first visit and kept current throughout your program. No coverage gaps, no surprises.
Every handler who enters a healthcare facility has undergone a police criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening — the same standard required of healthcare staff working with at-risk populations. Background checks are renewed regularly and records are available for facility review upon request.
